Skewed

Political discourse tends to focus on the question of the right way to govern. But the menu of options are given to us by history, i.e, by power-holders. We need to focus on an additional question: Who holds power?

The answer is complex because in our capitalist constitutional democracy, power is widely dispersed. Yet that does not mean it is not heavily skewed.
